Jusuriyatna

An interactive project inviting Syrians to exchange and reflect together on lived experience, turning what emerges into shared knowledge and narrative formats.

Communication

Jusuriyatna

جسورياتنا

Syrians inside Syria and in the diaspora live under very different conditions and have had very different experiences. War, displacement, and fragmentation have worn down mutual knowledge and trust between these groups over time.

Objective

Create structured opportunities for Syrians in Syria and abroad to exchange and reflect on intellectual, cultural, personal, and social experience, and to turn what emerges into shared knowledge and narrative formats.

Approach

Read moreRead less: Jusuriyatna: Approach
  1. 1.Listening and needs conversations with potential participants before designing anything
  2. 2.Designing a participation and facilitation model based on what those conversations surface
  3. 3.Running one bounded pilot series rather than an open-ended or nationwide programme
  4. 4.Moderated exchange sessions with clear scope and facilitation, not free-form discussion
  5. 5.Explicit consent, safety, and privacy arrangements agreed with participants in advance
  6. 6.A documented feedback and learning review after the pilot, before any decision to continue or expand

Boundaries and current status

The pilot is a validation step, not proof of the whole project model. No completed round has been documented yet, and the project does not claim to represent all Syrians or promise trust or reconciliation before that evidence exists.
